Sensors are the core function of many applications. They are essential as input for algorithms to calculate actions that control industrial plants, coffee machines, MP3players and even medical equipment such as pace makers.
Art of Technology works with a wide range of sensors.

Chemical changes (in the human body)
Basically the sensor principles are the same for industrial and medical applications. The differences are the accuracy and reliability of measurements, norms to be fulfilled and materials to be used (e.g. biocompatible surfaces to patients).
Art of Technology supports its customers in sensor research (e.g. chemical sensors or bio sensors for blood values). Sensors consist of hardware and software. The algorithms to collect data and to reduce side effects are more important than the electronics.
In the medical field mostly movement artefacts such as movement of the whole body, an arm or only the twinkle of a muscle near the sensor have to be considered.
Art of Technology supports the customers developing algorithms and translates them into code/software for a new or existing processor.
